Pull off pen cap and unscrew cartridge holder
Push screw into pen device
Insert Cartridge into holder and push the cartridge holder and pen body straight together.
Inspect insulin - for cloudy insulin roll the pen gently 10 times and shake pen 10 times. Insulin should look evenly mixed.
Take needle, remove paper tab, screw to pen.
Remove white needle cap
Dial 2 units and tap pen.
To prime pen, push end injection button - if no stream of insulin, prime again.
To dial dose required turn dose knob to units prescribed.
