|  | MHI 500 Needle-free Insulin Delivery System | The mhi-500 system works by forcing a fine stream of insulin through a carefully designed orifice at high velocity causing it to penetrate the skin. The pressure is adjustable to suit the individual and delivery if used properly is subcutaneous with no danger of a deeper intra-muscular injection, which would alter the absorption characteristics of the insulin.
