How to use the Abbott FreeStyle Lite Blood Glucose meter
This meter does not require calibration

To perform test
• After washing your hands, insert the test strip into the meter with the writing facing up.
• The meter should switch on automatically and display the apply blood sign.
• Apply the blood sample to either of the semicircles on the test strip. You will hear a bleep when sufficient blood has been applied.
• The result should appear within approx. 5 seconds.

This meter does have a strip port light and back light, which can be enabled prior to testing, to allow discreet use of the meter.
