ACCU-CHEK ACTIVE

1. Place the batteries in the battery compartment as indicated.

2. To code the meter, turn it off. Take the coding chip from the pack of test strips and slide it gently into the slot at the side of the meter. Insert a test strip to turn the meter on.

3. Make sure the three-digit code number on the display matches the number printed on the test strip container.

4. Push the test strip in the direction of the arrows into the test strip slot until you hear it click.

5. When the drop symbol flashes on the display, apply the drop of blood of blood to the middle of the orange-coloured, square application area. It is OK to touch this area when applying blood.

6. To apply blood when the strip is out of the meter, pull the test strip out as soon as the drop symbol flashes in the display. There are now 20 seconds to apply blood to the test strip and re-insert it before the meter switches off.

7. The test is complete after about 5 seconds. The result appears in the display and is automatically saved with date and time.

8. There is a facility for colour comparison within 30-60 seconds after blood was applied.

9. The meter has a memory facility.
