DIABETES CAMPAIGNERS NETWORK

Do you want :
* An end to discrimination and ignorance?
* The highest quality diabetes care and information for all?
* To campaign locally on issues that matter in your home area and nationally on UK-wide diabetes issues?

If you have answered YES to any of the above, Diabetes UK challenges you to join the new Diabetes Campaigners Network and work with others living with diabetes, including healthcare professionals, to improve the lives of people with diabetes.

The tasks may be as simple as writing letters to your health provider, MP or local press. A limited number of training sessions will be provided for those who wish to become more actively involved.

Diabetes UK is now working harder than ever to end discrimination against people with diabetes and to campaign for improvements in healthcare. There are 1.4 million people in the UK with diabetes and another million more undiagnosed.

* Together we are stronger
* Together we have a louder voice
* Together we can force change

To join please contact Diabetes Campaigners Network, Diabetes UK, 10 Parkway, London NW1 7AA Telephone 020 7424 1000
