New Abbotts Blood Glucose Meters

Abbott Diabetes Care have introduced 2 new meters into their product offering. The FreeStyle Lite and the FreeStyle Freedom Lite meters both require no coding, use a small 0.3μL sample size and have a fast test time of approx. 5 seconds. Both meters have been designed with ease in mind, easy to teach and easy to use.

The FreeStyle Lite meter is small and convenient to carry, ideal for the patient who lead a busy life. The meter has a backlight and strip port light, which allow discreet testing, day or night.

The FreeStyle Freedom Lite meter is easy to hold and suited to a life that is less hectic. The meter is ergonomic in size and has a large display so the digits are very clear and easy to read.

Coupled with the Abbott Inspire Program, which provides educational tools for Healthcare Professional and Patients, these two new meters will help you encourage your patients to take more responsibility for their diabetes care.

If you would like more information about the FreeStyle Lite, FreeStyle Freedom Lite or Abbott Inspire program please visit www.abbottdiabetescare.co.uk or email hcphelp@abbott.com.
